High Purity Taoist Palace on the Site

The architectural form of the shelter was designed to recall the classical Chinese architectural style with curved hip roofs and gable roofs with various volumes and other modern architectural features, clearly manifesting the hierarchic order of the historical buildings of the Taoist palace, which helps to recall the genius loci of this site. The spaces of the courtyard and the halls in history were built with modern architecture according to plan manifested by archaeological information to represent the sense of a traditional Taoist Palace.

Coexisting With Nature

This dental clinic was created using a design method that takes advantage of the vegetation, height difference, and depth of the existing land. TSC Architects wanted to design a clinic where patients can experience nature as if they were taking a walk on the road. They planned to leave the trees as much as possible, arrange the functions of the clinic to match the characteristics of the land, and connect them with corridors and multiple roofs. By setting the height of the floor at the center of the height difference on the site, people can feel a sense of floating and sinking into the ground.

Smart consumption is a new luxury and connects the past with the present by using traditional and artisanal techniques with technology. This antagonism between craftsmanship and technology is necessary to serve an increasingly demanding and conscious society. Justifying the use of rustic elements from memories and origins, in a contemporary and sophisticated environment, with a simple and pure trait, taking advantage of coatings that refer to vernacular construction methods, combining technology with affective memory.

Home FT3

This single family house, Home FT3, was conceived by following the highest sustainable principles and to offer the inhabitants the maximum comfort in a quiet urban environment. The natural light shapes the spaces of this contemporary architecture piece in the city of Mogliano Veneto, Italy. The garden and the swimming pool are integral part of the design concept and a fun part to the architecture design. Home FT3 is designed for a family of five persons.

BSP Security Plant Complex

The design is a proposal for the new BSP Security Plant Complex is a unique public building that incorporates planning principles for the future to demand a highly secure, flexible, and adaptable floor area as technology constantly improves the production process. The living facade is a showcase of over 250 endemic Philippine trees and an exposition of tropical plants. A constant display of life that shields the building from direct sun exposure and minimizes thermal heat gain while providing air ventilation.

Timeless

Inside, the house is defined by two courtyards, one large and the other small, that are arranged in parallel. The main courtyard is on the south side and features a bamboo grove that draws the eye when one steps into the entryway. A smaller slit-shaped courtyard on the north side is also dotted with plantings and serves as a lightwell, filling the first-floor living room and entryway as well as a second living room upstairs with pleasant, diffuse light.
