Enovio Smart Cleaner

Autonomous dispenser for disinfecting handling is a solution that allows to take care of hygiene in public spaces. Enovio Smart Cleaner is a free-standing product, for external applications, resistant to weather conditions. The product is fully autonomous because the automatic feeder is powered by a solar panel. In addition, the dispenser will inform the services about ending fluids and the need to top it up. The dispenser has a modular design that allows you to build different configurations, connecting two dispenser or dispenser with a waste bin.

The design aimed to question generic design and to be inspired by newly establishing ideas concerning future challenges. Since the outcome is a modular urban furniture family, it can work both as stand-alone furniture pieces as well as a small scale public realm with adjustable programs. Design can be described as flexible, scalable, industrial, modular urban furniture which can work as a permanent or temporary spatial intervention. Due to attention to details, the design achieves considerable optimization as all elements use the same standardized frame structure likewise shared materials.

Radial

The Enovio Radial Smart Bin is a smart City product adapted to the needs of modern cities. Design of the product was dictated by functionality. The product can fulfill an important information function in the city system by collecting data and transferring it to city services. The built-in photovoltaic panel can power the air quality sensor, fill sensor and advertisement lighting. These functionalities will help the city service to get information about the bin requiring emptying and the residents to read the air quality measurements in a given location.

Haikou West Coast Southern Park

The visitor center was conceived by MUDA-Architects to blend the indigenous spiritual and cultural heritage by respecting coastal and tropical nature ecology of Haikou. Due to the conspicuous location, it was proposed in a catchy shape of an oval pebble for conforming to the context and becoming a landmark to unfold the cityscape. A mirroring form of the local traditional roof was created as a shelter from the tropical climate. Glass curtain wall installed with undulating sunshades, was adopted for facade to save energy, correspond to the coastal feature and provide spacious view to visitors.

Coast Whale

The bionic form of the whale became the language of this chapel. A whale stranded on the coast of Iceland. A person can enter its body through a low fishtail and experience the perspective of a whale looking at the ocean where is easier for humans to reflect on the neglect of environmental degradation. The supporting structure falls on the beach to ensure minimal damage to the natural environment. Natural and environmentally friendly materials make this project a tourist destination that calls for environmental protection.

The PolyCuboid

The PolyCuboid is the new headquarter building for TIA, a company that provides insurance services. The first floor was shaped by the limits of the site and the 700mm diameter water pipe that is crossing the site underground limiting foundation space. The metallic structure dissolves into the diverse blocs of the composition. The pillars and beams vanish from the space syntax, projecting the impression of an object, while also eliminating that of a building. The volumetric design is inspired by TIA’s Logo turning the building itself into an icon representing the company.
