Poly Moonlight Bay

Nowadays, urban development is altering the natural environments and human being is surrounded by the verticality of various buildings. The project concerns the missed relationship between humans and nature. It tries to connect its inhabitants to the city but let them have a break from daily urban life. It contains the user and takes him/her to different levels of depth through space while aiming to reinterpret the traditional Chinese garden typology in terms of the relationship between architecture and nature and at the same time characterizing it with contemporary design ideas.

Shimao Loong Palace

Using natural and fluent language reasonable organization of landscape, courtyard are connected to each other in multiple dimensions, permeated with each other and converted smoothly. Using the vertical strategy skillfully, the 4-meter height difference will be reversed into the highlight and feature of the project, creating a multi-level, artistic, living, natural courtyard landscape.

Farmers Den

The design reflects the philosophy of honesty and the use of natural materials customized in local yellow stones and natural light depending on the path of the sun is the predominant attribute. The client is a simple farmer and his brief was to develop an office space to further this passion in organic and sustainable agriculture. The architectural layout was a simple grid-based plan and the building was slightly raised on a platform flowing into the surrounding landscape and waterbodies accentuating the overall openness and the sloping roof subtly cue the vernacular design.

Sandane

Table tennis is a space-efficient and accessible game compared to a lot of sports. The equipment needed is cheap and the game is easy to learn and equally hard to master. The perfect urban activity. The project aims to honor the game of table tennis with a sculptural table, made for the urban environment. A strict frame is made from minimalistic plates of steel, painted with dark reflective paint. A chain of wooden spheres works as a crossbeam. As the spheres reflect in the paint a continuous chain appears to go through the metal, making it seem translucent and light.

Trident

Trident is a public toilet built by customizing the "product standardization process", unified visual, modularity, humanization, technology, to bring users a better sense of experience. Different from ordinary public toilets, a photovoltaic power generation system is specially set up on the roof of Trident , which can also provide power support for the surrounding residents to use the environment, while satisfying the basic conditions of the public toilets' own electricity.

Chinese Quadrangle

This is a recently completed quadrangle project in Luoyang. Throughout the planning process, the designer adheres to the principles of ingenuity, sincerity, meticulousness and reassurance, and deeply grasps the traditional Chinese culture, spatial scale and human settlement concept, and walks away from the psychedelic feelings of modern and ancient times. The Chinese quadrangle courtyard, as the crystallization of traditional wisdom and civilization, is also a dynamic architectural model worthy of our reference in today's increasingly common urban housing.
