Play Garden for Yuecheng Kindergarten

Utilization of the open rooftop space made it possible to enhance the kindergarten's edutainment needs without sacrificing the preservation of the historic courtyard buildings and trees. The rubberized playground surface material cloaks the entire roof in varying hues of earth tones and provides a safe and comfortable surface on which the children can run, jump, fall, laugh, crawl and climb. The rich colors were derived from the vibrant pallet of colors that wrap the eves of the ancient Chinese buildings, further referencing the connection between the old and new.

Chosen One

The artistic front yard, the light and shadow corridor, the dewdrop sculpture, and the mirrored waterscape build an immersive and wonderful space experience. The back yard gradually start from the water ramp which connect the sky. After walking up the steps, people can stroll through in the floating swimming pool, enjoy the leisure vacation. The hotel-style meeting space in front of the building invites clients enjoy a lazy life, accompany them and families listen to the future story together.

Taking the experiential theme blocks as the entering point, the overall landscape design language of the project constructs the framework of the space and integrates the mysterious elements of Pandora planet by extracting the science fiction elements in Avatar. From concepts to forms, a series of fancy scenes with magic colors are depicted. Through scattering the landscape installations in different shapes over different places, the dream journey of LCC Pandora starts.

The Dragon Bay seeks the harmony between architecture and site. The principle is to focus on the potential of site transformation, seek the integration of artificial and natural transition. Pure and concise landscape techniques and the minimalism strategy, the perfect integration of nature. The creative of seven themes, including Initiatory journey, forest in the shuttle, canyon within exploration, green walk, mystery valley, star river, and play in the lost land. Respect the topography and rational use, collect community rainwater, build a community sponge city system.

Amplification of Sensation

His design is a chair made of discarded plastic pieces and at the same time serves as a public sculpture. He named the chair "amplification of the senses" and installed it on the Han River, the most beloved place in Seoul. The Han River is one of the few places where citizens can feel nature in the polluted city of Seoul. Through this design, users can relax in the Han River and focus on the scenery and sounds, and through this, they can recall the importance of nature. The designer wanted the design to be functional and include social messages at the same time.

One Villa

Su Shi once praised the natural sceneries of Jiangxi Province. One Villa redefines modern lifestyle by offering ideal secluded living spaces, making residences as ideal as the Peach Blossom Shangri-la depicted by Tao Yuanming, an ancient Chinese poet, and as the Utopia by Plato. In the Song Dynasty, residences in Jiujiang enjoyed beautiful Jiangnan-featured natural landscapes. It’s a life pleasure to travel the famous Lushan and appreciate ancient ink wash works. One Villa aims to bring in mountains and rivers and reproduces the classical architectural charm unique to the Song Dynasty.
