Aperitio House

Aperitio

Aperitio is a one-story wooden house built on a site facing the Sea of Japan in the northern part of Tottori Prefecture. The eaves are kept low so that the building blends into the surrounding landscape. Light, wind, sound and scenery are brought indoors. The north face toward the sea is clad in galvalume steel sheet, the same material as the roof, for easier maintenance. Large openings on the south side provide daylight and ventilation and link the rooms with an outdoor living area. The exterior is kept simple to avoid an overly symbolic form.

Wedge House Residence

Wedge House

Wedge House is a three-story residence built on a narrow site with a steep slope in Ikeda City, Japan. The two upper floors are made of wood and the basement is made of reinforced concrete. The east and west walls are finished with silver coated steel plates that support the cantilevered floor and frame the view to the south. The living area on the second floor opens to a terrace with a wide view.

Ondsauna Sauna

Ondsauna

Ondsauna is a sauna building placed within a forest. Vertical exterior walls are clustered around the sauna room, echoing the upward growth of trees. A spiraling path leads to a rooftop relaxation space. The entrance sits 250 millimeters above ground level, the cold plunge deck at 1000 millimeters and the rooftop at 3250 millimeters, so the movement from sauna to cold plunge to open air is vertical. An irregular polygonal plan and obtuse-angled benches guide sightlines and let visitors choose their level of interaction.

Sunbay Park is a mixed-use hotel complex located in Ninh Thuan, Viet Nam. LS Twin Stars Reception Center

LS Twin Stars

Ls Twin Stars is a reception center completed in Taiwan in June 2024. The design is based on the theme of home protection. Layered shield shapes form the facade and give the building the appearance of a fortress. The exterior uses wood wool cement boards with flexible polyurethane coatings, which allow expansion and contraction in a seismic environment.
